From the C&C website: Our drums start from wood. Not round, perfectly formed pre-fabricated shells, but flat sheets of the most beautiful, perfect wood one can acquire. These same sheets could have been used to make a couch or a cabinet, a desk or a door. And in the right hands it would have been the best couch, cabinet, desk or door you could find. Thats not what we do at C&C Drum Company though. At C&C, we make the best shells you can find from those sheets of wood. We cut, glue, pressure mold, sand and route every shell we make, and if its not perfect we start over. Its as simple as that. We do it because we care about the drums we make, just as much as you care about the drums you play. The sizes of the drums include a 13x8 tom, 16x15 floor tom, and a 22x14 bass drum. Long Tube Lugs on all the drums. All nickel hardware on the drums. The 3 ply shells feature reinforcement rings, a walnut outer ply and maple inner ply, and poplar in the middle. Sharper bearing edges. Natural bass drum hoops w/matching dark walnut inlay. 6.5x14 matching snare drum available separately.
